the real winners are builders what i like a lot about solana is that it makes it easy to build new programs using existing tech more often than not solana builders don't even deploy an on-chain program, where on other chains you need to which increases time to market, cost (audit, deployment)

i *really* want to understand this more. today i deployed a contract and it was expensive. i come from base. it is not expensive there. im probably doing it wrong can you give an example of a use case where it was not necessary to deploy an on-chain program? https://warpcast.com/jpfraneto.eth/0xa2ca328b

rent can be quite expensive on Solana, so hence programs are not the cheapest to deploy some examples: 1. pump.fun style launcher built via raydium launchlab or meteora sdk 2. token with extensions (spl 22) via metaplex umi 3. trading bot via jupiter api, raydium sdk, etc
