also, i have to provide the disclaimer that i haven't been perfectly sober. but i can probably count on one hand the number of drinks i've had over the last year, and i've smoked weed... three times? i think? but perfect sobriety wasn't ever really the goal. i was just tired of not doing anything else with my life.

and, honestly, it's been really easy to be sober. i don't miss it. and i feel really fortunate for that. it absolutely could've been a fight and a struggle, but it's just been a blessing. š„¹

i'm in a completely different place in my life now, too. i have a girlfriend i love my first solo apartment a new job in a year, just about everything has changed.

thanks dude :) I had kind of wanted to quit for a while, and then I did some ketamine one day and thought "cool I can be done" ĀÆā \ā _ā (ā ćā )ā _ā /ā ĀÆ I got pretty lucky with that I think
