in that case i would recommend you to get a pro subscription for Claude and start from there

cursor uses Claude under the hood, but you can go to the web interface of Claude and ask questions like:

“I don’t know anything about programming. but I want to understand from the most basic concept so that I can create something and feel a sense of accomplishment. I have discovered that that sense of accomplishment is what drives the inner fire that then propels the willingness to go through the hardships of learning something new. so I need your help navigating the first phase of me being a programmer. help me be a programmer. how would you do that? please give me the most basic task you can give me, and hold my hand. my computer is a MacBook Air with M1 chip, and I have never opened the terminal of it. tell me everything I need to do, explaining why, and we will then continue the conversation from here. do something basic. but fun.
