Coming soon: video UX upgrade and a new way to earn In addition to supporting the Base launch, the team has recently been focused on 3 priorities 1. Bux fixes / performance — still not out of the woods, but the app should be feeling much better, especially for Android users, compared to 2 weeks ago. 2. Improved Video UX — should be rolling out soon. Will be a separate, new feed that you can access while watching a full screen video. The text-based home feed is not going anywhere. 3. A new way to earn — we've been working on a new onchain way for people to earn while casting. Note: this will be different than the experiment that the Base app is running! Feature, not a bug. Having multiple clients means the protocol can run multiple experiments and results in more opportunities to discover new features that work well and help grow the network.

New: Miniapps Homepage It's easier than ever to discover new apps or go back to your favorites. The homepage has shortcuts to your most recently used apps. We're going to tweak this algo a little bit, and the goal is to always show you apps that you want to get to. The homepage now has trending categories, so you can find the best games or social apps. It also has a "popular" section that shows you what your friends are using. "Popular Among Friends" was built in a privacy preserving way. It will only show you friends if they have shared the app publicly. Otherwise, it will anonymize the data to "31 friends have used this". The page still has a few rough edges that we're going to fix over the next week. h/t to @pirosb3 for building this!

SHARE IT WITH AMPS If you have the @ampsfun miniapp added, it will now appear as a share extension, allowing you to easily boost the cast you're viewing. This makes it much easier to go from feed -> mini-app since the extension deep-links you with the currently selected cast preloaded. Give it a shot!

PSA: a new @betrmint round is going live very soon and there will be one change from previous games: The cost to mint editions will now be 0.0008 ETH instead of 0.0007 ETH. A small change, but you know by now that we always try to be maximally transparent. Important to note that your bonus odds have not changed, you will now just win multiples of 0.0008E instead of 0.0007E. There will be fewer available tickets overall than in previous rounds as a result of this change.
