How religious guilt, once a tool for control, has become a psychological default. We’re no longer afraid of it because we have grown up beside this mentality and thats the real danger. Its the tension between what religion wants us to be, and how we actually are molded by guilt, but not necessarily free from it. Religious guilt, something society often uses to keep us in a specific mental or moral box. In this meme the lamb is us, shows how we internalized that guilt so deeply that it no longer feels threatening
