It would be really easy to follow the Farcaster PRO hype. But this is not why some of us came here long time ago looking for something different to X. Once again, as I did previously with @woj.eth's @super in 2024, I'm trying to support those projects who work for real decentralization in Farcaster. Because a social network with a single application, managed by a single team, which also governs the protocol, is not "sufficiently decentralized". I know it is hard, and I know that it probably will fail to compete against the established monopoly (as it has happened again and again in the past). But it is important that we continue supporting what we believe. The alternative is what we have today. Another X with @dwr.eth as a new Elon Musk that governs his kingdom for the benefit of a few privileged, who pay for it. Long life to @recaster-fc and all who still try. You are not alone. Hace poco mas de 6 meses publiqué un artículo crítico con la evolución de Farcaster 📉 donde ponía mi esperanza en proyectos como Degen, Moxie y Supercast en 2025. Pero la realidad ha demostrado que estaba equivocado y estos proyectos han desaparecido o han pivotado radicalmente, olvidando de un día para otro (o peor, despreciando) a la comunidad que les hizo crecer 😔 Buena parte del ecosistema cripto y web3 que había en Farcaster ha vuelto a X, y desde @nevtrace también hemos incrementado allí nuestra actividad.
