💬 According to Arkham, The German government sold 49,858 $BTC for $2.89 billion, at an average price of $57,900 per BTC. ❓ If the country had held onto it, their BTC would now be worth $5.24 billion. 💵 "Tuition fee": $2.35 billion. A similar example was the UK selling gold between 1999 and 2002 — a total of 395 tons (nearly half of the national gold reserves) at an average price of around $275 per ounce, bringing in about $3.5 billion. 😂 Holding onto it would’ve been like Germany’s Bitcoin story — full of regret when BTC hits $1 million.
