If this is a simulation, all deaths and all births happen simultaneously. God is omnipresent — exists in all times and places. From their perspective, time is flat. Every birth, every death, all at once. You can see multiple end destinations on a map even though they're in different places. This puts "free will" into perspective. God isn't deciding the outcome — they just can't help but see it plainly on the map.
