I have learned that true gratitude is about more than just things. For a year, I've been practicing, but tangible items felt empty. Now, I look for feelings, like the comfort of soft night air, or nature. This deep search gives me reasons to be kind to myself and appreciate my life. I believe there is a deeper meaning to gratitude that I'm close to finding. In two days, I'll reach one year on this path—I'm proud of how far I have come.
