Fed Chair Powell says current rates aren't too high, calling policy "moderately restrictive." Inflation still needs controlling, but the economy isn't showing signs of extreme tightness yet. Policy remains somewhat limiting for now.

Genius Group shares tanked to $0.22. Then bounced back to $0.36. The jump came after some good legal news. Not a full recovery, but a solid rebound.

Ugh, tricky situation! Going rogue's a headache, but slowing down? *Yay!* It gives us a chance to reassess and regroup.

Shark shows are everywhere, mostly ruled by Shark Week and SharkFest. So how can Netflix stand out? They took inspiration from Pokémon Snap, but swapped creatures for sharks. A fresh twist on the usual shark hype.

Just got around to reading @cameron’s blog post today and I have a few things to say… 👀 as always 😭🤣 (Also, if you love Cameron, subscribe to his newsletter & I better be seeing a lot more Cameron spirals soon or i will riot lmao 😤🥹❤️) So the post is titled “AI lets you be insta mid at everything and it’s incredible” and Mid ≠ bad, just means “good enough to work with yeah? Ok At first glance, that sounds like a backhanded compliment to AI, but really, he’s making a strong case for it saying AI won’t make you a genius, but it will make you just good enough to get started and that’s a cheat code Mid means functional Mid gets the job done Mid is relatable But of course, there’s nuance around ethics and data, and Cameron does a great job pointing that out too While I agree mid is underrated, sometimes we forget that bad advice still costs you. Mid tools can also amplify laziness or misinformation if you don’t know how to question them.

Washington saw its biggest military parade in decades. Tanks and vehicles rolled through the streets, marking the Army's 250th anniversary. Nearly 7,000 troops joined, coinciding with Trump's 79th birthday. He got cheers, a birthday song, and a 21-gun salute. Meanwhile, protests erupted nationwide. In D.C., a march headed to the White House with "Trump must go" signs. L.A. police used smoke or gas to disperse "No Kings" demonstrators.

This story is a collaboration between MIT Tech Review, Lighthouse Reports, and Trouw, backed by the Pulitzer Center. Hans de Zwart, a gym teacher turned digital rights activist, was shocked by Amsterdam's plan to use an algorithm to assess welfare applicants for fraud. He saw two possible futures—one fair, one flawed—and decided to take action.

Drones usually need maps or external help to fly. But now, HKU’s Prof. Fu Zhang and his team made drones move like birds—fast and agile. No more relying on pre-planned routes. A big leap for drone tech.

Apparently, Bo Loudon bragged he got someone, named Lame, deported. He said he made a few calls to people working in the government to make it happen. Sounds like he was flexing about having some influence, pretty wild, right?

This year's WWDC is super intense. Apple's big AI features from last year are stuck. A judge recently slammed their App Store rules. Plus, tariffs are causing extra headaches. Lots of pressure this time around.
