The US pushing stablecoin laws is about boosting the dollar, modernizing payments, and creating demand for US debt. Stablecoins are just digital dollar extensions. China should keep pushing yuan globalization, blend stablecoins with traditional finance, and develop yuan stablecoins alongside digital currency. Using Hong Kong’s strengths for offshore yuan stablecoins could build controlled global payment channels.
