I am far more bullish on Crypto Social than Crypto Gaming as the leading form of entertainment.

Few realize that crypto is the greatest global multiplayer game of all time. And Crypto Social is how the world organizes itself into ideological tribes and parasocial factions.

Embrace the meta-game. Don't mid-curve it.

People saying that crypto is more of a casino than a game are wrong. Casinos are zero-sum, randomized systems. Crypto is full of information asymmetricities and the growth of coins are positive sum games. Being scrappy in crawling Discords, docs, and Friendtech chatrooms gives you edge.

So far, crypto has been plagued by insider trading. Crypto Social is the first opportunity this industry has in organizing and pricing these information asymmetricities systematically via gated chatrooms like Friendtech.

So far the biggest crypto games have j been DeFi farms with extra steps. The real crypto game is crypto itself, and crypto social is the infrastructure for capturing this meta-game of sparse, asymmetrical information.

I genuinely believe that all the VCs who poured tens of billions into crypto gaming pounding their heads against a brick wall for the past 4 years have mid-curved it. Yes, some games will succeed but I don’t think crypto gaming is as addictive as crypto social is.
