Warhammer 40k is coming to Amazon: Henry Cavill at the helm
Games Workshop and Amazon have finalized their Warhammer 40,000 deal, so the universe is officially on its way to both big and small screens. An elite team of writers is being assembled to craft the first stories, and full production will kick off once scripts are locked in. Henry Cavill is confirmed as an executive producer and is set to star, which is about as reassuring as it gets for lore accuracy.
Both Amazon and Games Workshop caution that film and TV production of this scale takes time, often two to three years from this stage before anything hits screens. So fans should expect a wait, but the important part is done: contracts are signed, Cavill is on board, and the Warhammer content machine is finally rolling.
