Thereās a certain kind of tired that doesnāt come from work, it comes from being around people who drain you. Constantly explaining yourself. Shrinking your light. Walking on eggshells just to keep the peace. Itās not selfish to protect your energy. Not everyone deserves access to the soft, growing version of you. Letting go isn't cold. Sometimes itās the kindest thing you can do.. for them, and for you.
