The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump is reportedly discussing the possibility of offering Iran sanctions relief, access to frozen assets, and up to $30 billion in investments in exchange for Tehran abandoning its military nuclear program. CNN reports this, citing four sources. Among other incentives being considered are the easing of certain sanctions and granting Iran access to $6 billion in frozen assets. According to two sources cited by the outlet, another idea currently under discussion is financing the replacement of the nuclear facility in Fordow with a project that would not involve uranium enrichment. This initiative would reportedly be funded by U.S. allies in the Persian Gulf.
