It’s not. If I do something bad, it’s associated with my real name and identity that I can’t change.

When someone stands to hear a greater penalty, you don’t need to trust them as much because you know they have real consequences. Sorry, that’s just how incentives work.

Sure, but it’s impossible to change your real face and body and identity. Maybe both have some consequence, but doxxed identities have more to lose from bad behavior.

In a reputation based world (with credentials or verifications), it’s much harder to willingly burn the time you’ve spent developing a pseudonym. 

On Twitter (and the migration to FC) - it was much easier to be whimsical. I think it only gets harder with time
