Bread isnât the enemyâŚ.At least not real bread The kind made with just three ingredients: flour, water and salt. Thatâs it. But most of what we eat these days? Thatâs not bread anymore. Itâs sugar filled, full of preservatives and loaded with stuff we donât need all to make it last longer or taste âbetterâ In Nigeria now the bread conversation has shifted to âwhich one is the sweetestâ And thatâs the problem Weâre not eating bread. Weâre eating cake pretending to be bread And the damage itâs doing to our bodies goes way deeper than we think I just miss when bread was simple and real Struggle bread over sweet bread any day

What kind of yeast is used where you are? I imagine similar to here, but I could easily be wrong about that. We usually have two kinds, a normal rising yeast and a fast rising one. Sourdough creates its own yeast, I just mean for normal raised bread, like your pic. đ

Yeah, same here mostly, regular and fast rising yeast. Not many people use sourdough starters though, that oneâs still rare around here. And just to add, that bread pic isnât mine, I found it onlineâŚBut it looks a lot like what we get here
