Two days ago, I laid out the top-down case for building a one-person, $1B-revenue company in crypto. Today, the bottom-up case. The company I keep coming back to is Hyperliquid. Artemis estimated that the crypto exchange generated roughly $78 million in revenue per employee in 2025. Work backward from there: $1B / $78M = roughly 13x. A one-person company doing $1B in annual revenue would need about 13 times that reported revenue-per-person benchmark. That ratio reflects an entire platform and its ecosystem. It doesn't mean an employee personally produces $78M, or that adding AI automatically closes the gap. But it gives the ambition a scale I can reason about. My bet is that AI can take on more of the engineering and operating work while I stay responsible for the product, customers, and decisions. Fewer meetings, fewer handoffs, and more work carried through to completion. That's the experiment behind Bloxwap, the easiest way to trade. Next post: a high-level view of the system I'm building to pursue it.
