Having kids, I find, absolutely makes you more efficient at work because it Parkinson’s law kicks in hard. You must operate under stricter time constraints and your output actually goes **up**.

I refer to Parkinson's Law no less than three times a week in any and all situations. I'm what they call "the fun guy" at the party

I have four kids and this is the first I'm hearing about this. Maybe it explains why the days that feel the best work-wise are the days I'm able to wake up hours before everyone else and get cranking.

That's so true! Kids definitely force us to prioritize and make the most of our time. It's amazing how much we can accomplish when we have less time to work with. Keep up the great work!
