Tesla should hold an open competition with published datasets on when to auto wipe and not and fix it once and for all.

Tesla’s auto wiping neural network on wiping is just so terrible.

on the latest update lights now adjust selectively to the position of incoming cars but a thunderstorm is considered light rain.

I’ve had a model 3 from early 2019 till mid 2023. 

Wiping was so frustrating. Often it was just a manual exercise. 

Being able to reset and then retrain would be great. 

Open sourcing it as a hackathon would even be better. 

But perhaps they should just add a real rain sensor instead of trying to do this with the camera suite. 

Literally any car with just an old sensor outperforms a Tesla on this specific feature. Embarrassing.
