New Pope knows what’s up. Everyone is fighting to be the big overarching narrative, but I have to disagree with the Pope in that this time is like the Industrial Revolution. It's more like the Renaissance where the cultural change will lead. New tech needs new norms. I think the cultural change will have to address the artificial depressing of the human spirit. This has been going on for as long as I can remember, and the AI narrative is just another form of this. The human spirit will come roaring back.

> I think the cultural change will have to address the artificial depressing of the human spirit i agree with you for the most part, I think though that AI reinvigorates the human spirit in a way we haven't seen since before the internet (assuming you know how to use it). the cultural change incoming imo is just people learning how to use it properly. personally have used it to: 1.) help me brainstorm on a given idea or thought I have (leads to better thinking overall) 2.) think through any kind of problem/emotion I am feeling at a moment 3.) (most important), help me realize what i actually want in life I think anyone who isn't using AI today for things like the above are at a massive disadvantage mentally and spiritually, (which leads to them being at a disadvantage everywhere else)
