Honestly, I don’t think anyone truly understand how painful learned helplessness is when it’s applied to your life violently by parents and gaurdians throughout your life consistently.  

A battle that seems extremely likely to always remain unwinnable. The constant voice in your head saying it’ll never be worth it.

People don’t like this topic because it’s not very positive, but it’s very real and it’s very prevalent in my life still and probably always will be until I die.

proactiveness seems to be just a decelerating component in this state of mind 
i say state of mind because thoughts there are just the surface reaction of the depressive state
while self destructive behavior pretends to be a faster way to an end(ing) of suffering while it's the opposite

Yeah i feel you. But also neurologically and genetically trauma is passed down and stored in the genes. eg, a titanic hits an iceberg but everyone is only 1 mile from shore, there would be some people who have the ability to reach the shore but because self-defeatism they will die despite having the measurable capability to survive. There is a test that proves this using mice, cherry blossoms, electric shocks, and a swim test. That’s why I say it’s hard for people to comprehend as the usual answer is “just be happy” but that also implies the rat can psychopathically connect to his progenitors and explain that the shock was just a weird doctor torturing him and it had nothing to do with the cherry blossoms 🌸. Self defeatism aka learned helplessness is just a byproduct of the previous system that gets passed on through genetics. Very hard for someone to articulate something affecting them, I propose we add glowing red buttons to all of our weaknesses like in Legend of Zelda bosses lol 😂

well, i think it stems from a deep understanding that energy can move but cant come out of nowhere. it's like feeling going over bodies for the daily bread. but i guess this is what we have to accept in this realm, so at least seeing things as fun as fucked up it is wwhile lowering your own fucking urself up through eg bad eating habbits. we can be actually place ourselves in a vibe where we do not need wanting to freefall over and over again
