Building paywithglide.xyz, walletkit.com. ex Robinhood, Uber, Apple

They enabled cross-chain payments using paywithglide.xyz so users could pay with their ETH on Base .. even though the contracts are deployed on Optimism.

Now, EIGHTY FIVE PERCENT of the transactions on @caststorage are made via Glide on Base.

Amazing win for users and thanks to @base for on-ramping so many users!

So windows extension is the only way to send NFTs with coinbase on base natively? I guess it’s not Apple’s restrictions like I was told? I don’t feel very bridged when using the product right now sir. Are there ideas being brought to light that could change this experience?

I'm not sure what you mean. you can use any app to send NFTs on base, incl opensea, rarible, basescan, etc

the wallet app on iOS makes me use a dapp whereas the wallet extension on windows lets me send via the extension without opening a dapp.

Which doesn’t stop other wallet providers, hence my confusion. I get they aren’t the same exact thing as base & Coinbase Products, but is that it?

it's that Coinbase is far and away the most scrutinized crypto product in the apple store :)

I’m not trying to be critical of you or the products. It’s just frustrating as a user and it makes me wonder whether or not your Apple rep “gets it” because it seems like IF they do, they are intentionally putting you through extra shenanigans.

apple absolutely does not get it and we spend a ton of energy trying to help them see the light :)

Is there publicly available documentation? Ik Apple is big on obfuscation & compartmentalization.  I wonder who the rep/s are assigned to your account and how much of an impact that has on the nature of your relationship. It’s more complex than just THAT relationship, but still. Have you considered polling this?
