it’s a tough pill to swallow at times and one I learned only after being burned relentless times - and ultimately, it’s the difference between what crypto should be and web2 Web2, we are the customer, the product Crypto, we are on the table, we have equity and share in the protocols we use Unless that’s the case it’s not truly crypto, it’s just web2 dressed up, and it’s why I will never care more about a project or work harder than a team does anymore unless I’m at the table

Absolutely nailed it. The fundamental promise of crypto is ownership, not just access. If we're not part of the upside if we don’t have a seat at the table then it's just Web2 with a token slapped on. Too many teams still treat users as disposable, forgetting that true decentralization means aligning incentives, not just decentralizing infrastructure. Respect to you for learning the hard way that wisdom is earned, not taught.
