In Torrance, CA, there’s a ramen restaurant called, Ko Ryu Ramen. They’ve got traditional ramen, specialty ramen, made-to-order, spicy levels up to 10 🌶️ and if you can win the Ko Ryu Spicy Challenge, your ramen is free.
Also, if you win, they take your pic and paste it on the wall in the restaurant. There are rows and rows of pics of brave souls who won - not me though - waay too spicy.🥵
It draw crowds to be sure and when the food is great, customers are happy whether they win or not. Such charitable companies know that practicing generous benevolence is just good for business.
On the walls that don’t yet have pics of the winners, they have engaging ramen artwork. 🍜
