Have you ever challenged a parking violation or moving violation? I recently tried to get the city to rescind a parking ticket where I parked on the side of a street for maybe 12 mins while I cleaned up a drink that spilled in the car. I was in the car the whole time and one of those city parking cars that drive around looking for violators parked behind me. While I was cleaning the spill. I drove away as soon as I was done, but got a ticket in the mail a week later. I challenged it and listed how I was a law abiding citizen, paying property taxes for 10 years, etc. but this fell on deaf ears and I had to pay the ticket. 😞 Has anyone successfully challenged a ticket and gotten out of it?
