Every week, I moderate a meeting with colleagues and we distribute any new tasks and talk about what we did the week prior. It’s not a comprehensive list; it’s more of a highlight reel of events. In looking over the notes from our last meeting, I was struck at how many esoteric acronyms we use as well as language that only makes sense to people who work where we work.
People outside of our organization might think we just make up stuff and call it work. Anyone else experience this where they work?
