Saw this in the greeting card section of my pharmacy and thought the Farcaster community might appreciate it. I can’t speak to the truth of this, but it would explain a lot. Aside from walking 5-miles to school every day barefoot in the snow uphill, cleaning the house regularly, making breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day, my grandparents hosted get-togethers, reunions, boisterous house parties, lunches with their many, many social groups like Knights of Columbus, sewing / knitting groups, gardening groups, etc. ASIDE from all that, they’d volunteer for the church, for the local food pantries. I seriously don’t know how they had the energy unless it was like the card says. 😆
