Woke up to the worst thing ever. Not sure how or when but my Mac screen started to twitch. Man 😓.

Anyone have an idea of this? I repaired the screen but my color is not messed. Hardware guy is convinced it not from the screen. 
My normal colors seem fine (like Icons, external app colors) but things like close, mininmize, maximize buttons are greyed out, switch button also greyed out. 
Asked GPT and it's giving me things I already tried.

Hate to state the obvious but have you powercycled? 
And if so, next stage in the various levels of resets in Settings?

still thinking about rando things I’ve seen along the way: try plugging in a different outlet to rule out weird power line interference, esp if something has changed around the house
