Grr why do hotels make it so damn hard to get your room totally dark?

Towel along bottom of hallway door right across from bed

Dumb bright bedside clock I turned on its face 

Fridge with bright temperature indicator that I just turned off

Red tv light 

At least it’s not like the one hotel I had in Portland that had insane bright strobing fire alarm light right in my eye 

You had one job. Create a dark and silently sleep space 😐

The more “modern” a hotel the worse this shit
