Just published a new @researchhub Journal paper on how different DNA polymerase peptides compete for the Mycobacterial β‑clamp. X‑ray crystal structures plus binding assays reveal how clamp‑binding motifs drive polymerase recruitment.

Up to 50% of research funding is wasted on irreproducible studies. Reproducibility is the cornerstone of trustworthy science. Certain research practices significantly increase the likelihood that results can be independently verified. Here are 4 essential practices that help make research more reproducible:

Funders are distributing capital directly to researchers on ResearchHub. Funders open RFPs and researchers submit proposals that receive open peer review from ResearchHub’s network of scientists to help funders get context. https://www.researchhub.com/fund/grants

How Crowdfunding Works on ResearchHub. ResearchHub is giving donors and researchers more control by offering a faster and more transparent way to fund science. How it works: 1. Preregister the experiment Researchers publish their full methodology and planned analyses before asking for funding. This supports transparency and reproducibility. 2. Get expert peer review The community provides early feedback, improving scientific rigor before any money is raised. 3. Link to a nonprofit (optional) To unlock tax-deductible giving, researchers can link their project to a qualified nonprofit (e.g. a university foundation). Donations to the project greater than $500 become eligible for tax exemption. 1/2 https://farcaster.xyz/researchhubf/0xd5b49a4d
