If you still use CEXs, and are not using alternatives like @fluidkey , can you explain to me why?

you probably don’t think about liquidity enough // it is what it is  // build value, not valuation

ye its perfectly suitable for that - highly recommend for that bc of the rotating address features

Great feedback, but what if you’re just using it for on-ramp and off-ramping ?

Swapping on Fluidkey is still imperfect (just like Warplet) 

Over time it’ll get better but I don’t see 100% recommending people full switch

After going through the same KYC process as any of the big CEXs you are charged fractions of pennies when onramping and offramping. 

Swap txn fees are competitive with any wallet I’ve used.

difficulty getting enough gas fees in DEX accounts (specifically from texas). works super smoothly to add USD to coinbase but most alternatives like Moonpay to add funds to DEXes created too much friction for me

I'd also add to that more wallets doesn't make life easier when it comes to taxes.

I use CEX, hard wallets, and connected wallets. Convenience still largest reason for my CEX use. User friendly, well designed, connects to my bank acct for easy on-ramp/off-ramp transfers. 
CEX is just a really great routing option. If I want to do more onchain, easy to transfer to another wallet.
Need to make a withdrawal, easy to get to my bank.
