There is this concept I was reading about related to onchain stocks called âBoard Sitâ on Robinhood.
Since the âsharesâ being created are debt securities issued by Robinhood Assets, they donât have voting rights.
However, the âsharesâ are collateralized by real stock; if the onchain holdings became big enough, they could theoretically mobilize to start coordinating board votes and maybe even appointing new directors đ€Ż
Longer term, I am wondering if this type of movement would help solve the ârug problemâ wherby onchain assets start to have real rights for these companies, not just vibes and exit liquidity.
