every time macos named updates happen I procrastinate for weeks, then google "should I upgrade to macos sequoia" or whatever and eventually do it they should automate this process somehow. Put in the prompt dialog something like "it's been out for n weeks now, and it's 89% on rotten mactomatoes, so past your trigger point... upgrade now?"

the idea that apple would do this is laughable. that said the right implementation would make a dynamite subsystem tool
