If someone could partner with a print on demand service provider to accept crypto payments and create a mini app where people can submit a design and order t-shirt and mugs with that design right from inside a mini app that would be 🔥

This would empower creators on Farcaster to sell their designs as merch. NFT artists will love that and their supporters will love that even more. 
POD services don't accept crypto though afaik

i can do this but the most basic shirt would be 12-15 bucks, is that viable?

This is an example of what I mean. With Teespring you can just give it a design and it will create mockups of t-shirts, mugs, sweatshirt and even dog collars.... With that design. With a single click you have a shop ready to sell all sorts of merch. When someone orders one of items with your design they will print the design on the ordered item and because they have print shops all around the world they ship it to the customer's address for you. That shop can even be embedded in other websites. The only part missing is they never accept cryoto.

Teespring also automatically sets prices but the creator can change it if they want.

so the two easier options for doing it via an api are https://www.printful.com/ and https://www.gooten.com/ but a basic low quality t shirt starts at $11-13 to order, no overhead or cut included, is that too expensive? like will people buy $20 tshirts if they want the creator to get some money too?
