finally understand the SOL thing now: when people say SOL is cheaper to use they are comparing gas to gas, NOT counting the SOL specific extra rent fees

unfair comparison imo and should come with a giant asterisk anytime someone says it

how does the cost break down for the contract you put up? is this where the huge cost to deploy comes from?

deployment: 1.42700184 SOL spend + 0.00109 SOL fee
crush being posted: 0.001638 SOL
crush being reciprocated: 0.00001 SOL

total crushes posted was around 3k so ~= 5 SOL = 800 USD

the shared symmetric key for each crush pairing is posted in a new "PDA", apparently pre-deriving the addresses upfront would've made the crush being posted cost less, but also i don't really know what that means or what the implications would've been

i think? it was like 40 tx with almost all of them just pushing bytecode up (from what i understand) and i think if you delete that bytecode you get all your money back

the deployment cost is what i still cant understand. does that include a long term rent prepayment?
