Short "storage redenomination" explainer: we basically moved the decimal points one place left. Old: $2.00 for 2000 casts, 1000 reactions, 1000 follows New: $0.20 for 100 casts, 200 reactions, 200 follows ...so the price is lower *and* the units are smaller. But you get roughly the same amount for the same price.

("roughly" because you actually get more reactions and follows and fewer casts. we adjusted this based on usage patterns and user feedback. everyone runs out of reactions too fast.)

The ratios have always seemed crazy off to me. Why don’t Reactions:Casts reflect platform usage / actual user behavior?

casts and links are much more valuable to the network than reactions. in fact, it would be great for links to be durable.

Are you building the product for the network or for the users of the network? This feels like ignoring very predictable behavior from the customers in favor of how you’d like them using the platform. Reactions will always massively outnumber OC. Artificially capping reactions won’t incentivize more OC, rather it just discourages reactions.
