the language training app - something’s wrong with it and it’s not just the need for text instructions it’s something more fundamental. 2 45s vocal language classes a day, play anytime you want mini games, sundays you get feedback from a trainer. curriculum constantly adapts to your level and needs.

Just my 2 cents from product and user perspective, very high level, happy to explain or elaborate more- UI * Larger font size, height and bigger cards *Highlight the first place that you want users to explore or come back to *I always like Material UI components for simple look & feel, maybe can reference that (which you may already know) UX * Immediate feedback after a user action. As simple as sound or animation helps. Especially during the lesson, the speaker is speaking a paragraph before user can interact. Can reference Duolingo (not gaslighting part), it highlights the word the speaker is speaking. Same for user, when the user is saying something, display the words help. * Simple pop up when a milestone / task is complete Understand this is MVP so maybe there isn't any reward/ progression system but it's good for engagement and retention. Really cool this is like personal language tutor. Excited to see where it goes!
