This mechanism can enhance ETH's value by increasing demand and decreasing circulating supply. Additionally, PoS reduces the issuance of new ETH, lowering the annual inflation rate from approximately 4% to around 0.5-1%. This decrease in new ETH supply, coupled with staking incentives, strengthens ETH's scarcity and investment appeal.
