i think this will drastically change the dynamic of $degen because you don't have to lock up any degen and farmoors hate tipping their own money.. might see that $1 degen after all

that's the point lol there's no difference. but honestly degen will outlast 90% of worthless coins on this app people who don't know about Farcaster have thousands of dollars in degen because they just think it's a base meme. Sometimes you gotta think bigger than this purple app

It might, but higher seems like a better pick if people want a coin associated with Farcaster at this point. Stuff like Bankr, Noice, and Tipn are going to eat them alive when it comes to tipping people from your wallet too The retroactive rules, the unilaterally nuking allowances and then removing them completely, and the pivoting to the new hot thing that no one asked for all give of MAJOR moxie vibes I just really don’t see how any of the decisions made by Degen leadership are good long term (short term it might be a nice exit opportunity as emissions are 0), and Jacek is out here doing ChatGPT and Elon tier posts and replies lol. Doesn’t really inspire confidence

I'm sorry but comparing Jacek to Elon is bizarre. And I don't think even tipn is necessarily hoping that the tipped coins are associated with Farcaster only. That's just asking for failure. And the $degen investors outside the Farcaster echo chamber don't give a fuck about the past tipping mechanics. It's a solid brand despite whatever mistakes Jacek may have made.

Should’ve clarified that the Elon stuff is the emoji replies he’s been doing, my bad. I honesty don’t think there very many people outside of the fc ecosystem that are holding it anymore, most if not all jumped ship a while ago because they saw the direction it was heading I do wonder if the degen names we minted for no reason will have some use in the app though, would be nice for it to actually have a tiny bit of utility instead of just being a cashgrab Looks like they’re requiring phone number verification in their app to tip with your own wallet too lmfao
