If I were Coinbase, I’d:

1️⃣ Tokenize $COIN on Base 
2️⃣ Brand tokenized $COIN specifically for Base users with an arcade-aesthetic, keep corporate vibes for tradfi
3️⃣ Reward Base creators and users with tokenized $COIN 

$COIN would become the $ETH of Base and help bridge the tradfi gap.

Would be cool, but I don’t think shareholders would approve of any plan that gives out tokenized shares for free 

IMO it’s much more likely that they launch $base as a completely separate thing and print a bunch of money for themselves and their ecosystem partners

Kinda? They just just reward people with $base instead though. I don’t just don’t see them missing out on the opportunity to print a bunch of money.  

Could have something where they reward people with $base, and then buy $coin from the market with revenue made from the L2 and then distribute that to $base stakers. Worst case scenario (everyone sells the $coin they get) this would still be neutral for the value of their stock, and give people a reason to buy, hold, and lock up $base, which would increase the value of the massive amount of tokens they’d give themselves too. 

(If Coinbase or any other company does this plz give me a bunch of money for free)
