i just finished watching wolf hall yesterday, and it was so stunning i still haven’t recovered. the last time i felt something like this was watching barry lyndon. the atmosphere, the tension, the quiet intensity — it’s all there. it follows the rise of thomas cromwell, advisor to henry viii, navigating the brutal politics of the tudor court with brilliance and subtlety. power, manipulation, survival — portrayed with incredible restraint and depth. this is a 10/10. highly recommend.
