with @noiceapp introducing a new way of creators to make money do you see this becoming something where creators can have full time careers entirely on the basis of the tipping economy and not by depending on brand deals, how far out is that if someone from the noice team is reading this I’d love to know your take on this too

imo p2p microtransactions at scale could genuinely challenge the monopoly of ad networks and how they shape and manipulate social media algorithms. right now, smaller creators with real talent but no distribution have no real way to earn meaningfully. noice isn’t the solution it’s an experiment in that direction. a lot of things still need to fall into place. it’s still day 0 and we’re working towards making that vision real. some experiments will work, some won’t but for any of this to happen, open and permissionless social networks like farcaster need to succeed first. (all just my personal take.)

noice capitalises micro transactions for people to tip others. even if noice is experimental, there’s room to play with ideas for brand deals, users could earn through recurring contracts tied to specific goals or get micro payments for hitting milestones, like reaching n users, then 2n. distribution is the moat.
