if you're curious about Namechain development, here's an update for you. We are deeply researching with the EF, @linea, Status, Spire Labs, Open Zeppelin and others on how to make Namechain a based rollup, and eventually a native rollup. As a brief primer, traditional rollups use their own dedicated sequencer, whereas based rollups leverage Ethereum itself as the sequencer.
