I have not been spending a lot of time on Farcaster over the last few days as I have been insanely locked in and prolifically active on X. This is because a memecoin that I launched somewhat spontaneously on the robinhood chain by tagging @bankrbot on X has garnered as much attention as anything I’ve created ever has, including the onchain attention machine. Due to the current size of Farcaster compared to X, the fact that this token was launched directly on X in the first place, and my feeling that Farcaster folks tend to be much less interested in memecoins and moreso in apps and appcoins (which I have mostly been historically as well), it just hasn’t made much sense to me to spend any time doing anything here for it at the opportunity cost of doing more on X. Having said that, I want to be clear about the fact that Farcaster remains probably my single favorite crypto app of all-time. It is certainly the one on which I have spent the most time.
