Generally speaking, Base doesn’t have tokens that go as high as Solana. It’s also not really close. It feels like a 1-2 order of magnitude difference. But there is an opportunity in that. Because Solana tokens do not survive. The rise and they fall. So do Base tokens, to be fair, but my point is this is an unsolved problem which will get solved in one ecosystem or the other first, and based on the builder focus of Base I think it could be Base. I’m certainly taking a swing at it with @qrcoindotfun. I believe the conflict between the fleeting nature of attention and the need for tokens to hold attention on one thing forever to hold their market cap is a big part of the problem. That’s why the $QR points to something different every day. That way, it always stays fresh. It never gets old. Of course, some days will get more attention than others, but we’re not trying to keep bringing you back to the same thing forever. We’re bringing you somewhere new, as determined by the winner of our daily auction, every day. I think this is a formula that can successfully compound attention over time, and volume and market cap as a result. 325 days in, it’s probably still a bit too early to tell. That said, the fact that we are still the #1 trending mini app and a top 7 clanker after all this time is definitely an encouraging sign.
