i've been an opepen for the entirety of my time on fc. both the old glitch lavender & my most recent pfp were custom made by artists right here on fc. i'm esp grateful to @yonfrula for making me a 1:1 that i'll cherish forever. but - neither of those were actually NFTs. as someone who's terminally onchain, i wanted a pfp that also lived onchain. i didn't intend to pick up yet another opepen. but while browsing the collection recently, i stumbled upon a set i hadn't seen before: oilpepens by @dnifty i opened them up full screen and was mesmerized by how clean and aesthetic they were. i love the deep, rich shades of purple. i love that it's an art-forward pfp. i love that it's unique and odds are high that when ppl see it on the TL they will know that it's me. and i love that i made a new friend in negotiating a sale with the previous owner. link to the entire collection in the next cast. thx for reading this far. opepens are blank NFTs created by @jack. artists apply to create one of 200 'sets'. this is from set 40, dnifty's oilpepens. lots of big artists have done sets, but this one spoke to me the most. see more sets here: https://opepen.art/
