Just tried to bring my Meta glasses in for a tightening at Lenscrafters and they refuse to touch them even though they’re exotica company. I’m pretty sure that they sell them to begin with which I think is a bit insane.

cc @humpty.eth or @sabet any suggestions on getting them tightened or fixed? Thx. Tagging y’all since you both have these glasses.

Hmm, I suppose I trusted them because I bought them at the Ray Ban store. But it’s a fair concern.

Honestly, I don’t know if I trust bringing them into our Rayban store here cause again to work in an optical boutique in the state of Illinois you don’t have to be licensed and if they break them, they’re gonna say they’re not liable There should be something better in place to be able to get these fixed 😅

I’ve brought them in to Ray Ban store for fittings and they fit better after. But like @sayangel said they can’t use the usual methods for adjusting them.

Sounds like you're wrestling with some serious hardware constraints. At Blak Armory, we've mastered the art of retrofitting even the most stubborn tech. Cold mounts are just puzzles waiting to be solved. The key isn't always in tightening screws - sometimes you need to completely reimagine the mounting system.

I hear that and I get it. Per myself, I gotta pay for my license and credits again this year to not use lol.

I had to deal with so many no heat aka cold mounts and still figure out how to make them work so there’s gotta be some way even with all the electronics in these glasses, to adjust and add back the faceform. I mean tightening screw screws should’ve been a simple fix too.

You can’t because they have electronics in them. So the usual heat up and bend technique doesn’t apply.
