some thoughts on this:
- the best projects are driven by a bold, inspiring vision that unites their community. sadly, I struggle to find anything to be excited about here. since shifting focus to trading, it feels like farcaster has lost that narrative.
- early users stuck around and went to great lengths to grow the network because they were passionate about that vision. traders are the least loyal users you can attract: they churn fast and get angry even faster. I'm worried mm might be overestimating the retention value and quality of this growth — which is ironic, given that farcaster’s initial success came from a small, high-quality cohort. there might be more active wallets now, but I doubt they'll translate into durable, organic usage.
