Having kids really amplifies this feeling that you won’t see people in your life as much as you’d like. Really makes you hyper aware of time.. and how little of it you have

I moved to NY nearly 8 years ago for a job and.. just never left. After having Zoe, it really woke me up to how much of my time slipped away. What was I doing for the first 30 years of it?

Intentionality with my time has reduced the anxiety some. Spend more time your parents.. they’re not getting younger. Spend more time improving your diet and body.. you only get one. Spend less time dilly dallying.. every second is precious so treat it as such

We pushed ourselves to make time for hosting play dates in the winter and it’s really starting to pay off :)

Make friends with neighbors, simply because it's easier to get together with them!

At the same time 24 is young. Hell 30’s is young too. Realizing it is half the battle. The other half is doing something about it
